Saudi End of Service Calculator 2026

Estimate Saudi end-of-service benefits using your last monthly wage, service period and whether the employment ended by resignation or another reason.

Saudi end-of-service benefit formula

The standard award uses half a month of the last wage for each of the first five years, then one full month of wage for each following year. Parts of a year are calculated proportionally.

Resignation entitlement

If the employment relationship ends by resignation, the standard entitlement is zero before two years of service, one-third from two through five years, two-thirds after five years but before ten, and the full award at ten years or more. Other legal exceptions and special circumstances are not modelled here.

Official rule source

The calculation follows the Saudi Labor Law end-of-service provisions published by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD). View the official HRSD guidance. Use this as an estimate and confirm unusual cases with HR or the relevant authority.

Use the Saudi EOS result as an estimate

Saudi end-of-service benefits depend on the service period and the way employment ends. The calculator applies the selected scenario to the salary and service information you enter so you can estimate the benefit before reviewing official documents.

Employment facts such as unpaid periods, contract terms, resignation timing or later legal changes can affect a real entitlement. For a final settlement or dispute, verify the current Saudi labour rules and your employment record rather than relying only on an online estimate.

Frequently asked questions

The law uses the last wage as the calculation basis, subject to the treatment of variable components and any applicable agreements.

Yes. Under the standard rule, the percentage depends on continuous service length; the calculator applies the common Article 85 tiers.

Employment facts matter as much as the formula

Saudi end-of-service calculations depend on service length and how the employment relationship ends. The tool models the standard scenario shown on the page, but unusual contract terms or legal exceptions can change a real settlement.

  • Enter the last wage figure relevant to your employment record.
  • Choose resignation versus termination/contract end carefully.
  • For a dispute or final settlement, verify the current HRSD rules and your contract documents.
