International Salary & Tax Calculator
Estimate your gross-to-net salary and take-home pay using supported tax and social-contribution rules for Pakistan, the UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Unsupported countries are clearly marked rather than guessed.
How to use the international salary calculator
- Choose your country.
- If it's fully supported, fill in the salary fields that appear and click Calculate. If it says “CURRENT TAX DATA REQUIRED”, we haven't added verified rules for it yet.
- Review the breakdown, including income tax, social contributions and effective deduction rate.
Country-specific take-home pay estimates
Salary deductions vary by country, so the calculator uses a separate rule set for each supported location rather than applying one generic percentage. For a dedicated Pakistan calculation, use the Pakistan Salary Tax Calculator; UAE and Saudi end-of-service calculators are also available separately.
Features
- Real, sourced tax rules for Pakistan (FBR), the UK (HMRC), UAE, Saudi Arabia (GOSI) and Qatar
- Unsupported countries are clearly marked rather than silently guessed at
- Shows annual and monthly net pay, plus effective deduction rate
- All calculation happens in your browser
Tax rates, sources & assumptions
This calculator is an independent estimate. Tax and social-contribution rules can change, and individual circumstances may affect the final amount. The supported country calculations are based on publicly available official guidance.
- Pakistan: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) withholding tax rate cards for the applicable tax year.
- United Kingdom: HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) Income Tax guidance and National Insurance rules for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Scotland is not modelled here.
- United Arab Emirates: UAE Government tax guidance states that personal income tax is not levied on individuals; employee pension rules that may apply to UAE/GCC nationals are not modelled here.
- Saudi Arabia: General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) guidance. The calculator uses the simplified assumptions stated below the result.
- Qatar: General Tax Authority guidance states that individuals do not pay personal income tax on salaries or wages; applicable social-insurance arrangements are not modelled here.

Why unsupported countries are not guessed
Payroll tax is not one global formula. Rates can depend on tax year, residency, region, social insurance and personal circumstances, so ToolNova shows a calculation only where a verified rule set is loaded instead of applying an invented flat percentage.
- Confirm the selected country and tax year before using the result.
- Treat net pay as a planning estimate when personal credits or deductions are not modelled.
- Use the linked official authority for a final payroll, filing or compliance decision.
