Provident Fund Calculator

Estimate provident fund or retirement contribution growth for any country using your own employee and employer rates, fixed contributions, currency and expected return.

Global provident fund calculator for any country

Use this flexible provident fund calculator for Pakistan, India, the Gulf, Southeast Asia, the UK, North America, Africa or any other country. Pick a country to format the result in a familiar currency, or choose Other / custom currency. You can calculate contributions as percentages of monthly salary or enter fixed monthly employee and employer amounts.

The country selector does not silently apply a legal contribution rate. Provident fund, EPF, CPF, pension and retirement contribution rules can depend on the scheme, age, salary band, citizenship, employer and tax rules. Enter the rates or monthly amounts that actually apply to you.

How the calculation works

The calculator starts with your opening balance, adds employee and employer contributions each month, then applies your estimated annual return as a monthly compound rate. The result separates employee contributions, employer contributions and estimated investment growth so you can see where the final balance comes from.

If your real fund credits profit annually, changes rates over time, uses salary ceilings or applies fees and taxes, treat this as a planning estimate rather than an official benefit statement.

Percentage vs fixed contribution mode

Choose % of monthly salary when both contributions are calculated from a salary or contribution base. Choose Fixed monthly amounts when your scheme uses a set monthly payment, or when you already know exactly how much the employee and employer contribute.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The calculator is country-neutral. Select your currency and enter the contribution rates or fixed amounts used by your own provident, pension or retirement scheme.

No. Those systems can use age bands, wage ceilings, account splits and other rules. This global calculator deliberately keeps the inputs editable instead of pretending one rate fits everyone.

Yes. Put your current fund value in the opening balance field, then add the future contribution period and expected annual return.

Note: This is a financial projection tool, not legal, tax or investment advice. Verify statutory rates, wage ceilings and withdrawal rules with your fund administrator or official authority.

A projection is a scenario, not a promise

The global calculator deliberately lets you enter your own contribution amounts or percentages because retirement and provident-fund rules differ by scheme and country. Return assumptions can have a large effect over long periods.

  • Use contribution figures from your plan or payslip.
  • Try a lower and higher return scenario instead of relying on one forecast.
  • Include the opening balance if you are modelling an existing fund, not a new one.
